"Here is something Birkman publishes as a sort of guide for utilizing the
Components in targeted organizational (and relationship) issues.
We think it can be enhanced. Critique it from your point of view; indicate if
you think a particular Component reference may miss the mark (and what
should take it's place, if any); and also what Component(s) would you add to
particular issues and why?"
If you would like this in a word doc, pls let me know and I'll email one to you.

Jean, I agree with all you have and have added a few to some of the areas. I am not sure if this was the best way to do it. There are aspects of personality that seem to be prevalent even when the focus is on just one or two components as so often, depending upon the scores and aspects of reversibility that the underlying components added may partially override the components typically identified with the areas you have described. These benefical areas to consider when working in the corporate environment. They are also areas/issues that come up when working with a younger population as they have to do with how relationships work, get cemented or not, and so forth.

Louise this is a great contribution. I agree completely. This is so good maybe it should be a blog rather than a comment . I'm curious as to your coments on "willingness to take initative."
ReplyDeleteLouise - thanks for your contributions. For my own educational benefit, I'd like to hear why you think the additions are important to the specific Component. Would you mind taking a minute to give us your insights, please?
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
